A summit. A platform. A movement that outlasted the event.

Context

Grounded was founded by Julia Jackson to bring world leaders, scientists, philanthropists, and creators together for serious climate solutions, not just talk. For their inaugural summit, attended by figures from Pierce Brosnan to Dr. Paul Hawken, they needed a digital presence that matched the urgency of the moment without instilling doom.

Since then, Grounded has spent half a decade connecting climate scientists and solutionists with the funding they need, creating landmark campaigns across clean energy, indigenous rights, and biodiversity.

What we did

A responsive summit website with ticketing, speaker profiles, and conversion-focused checkout. A companion mobile app giving attendees deeper insight at the event. And a custom live-blogging platform we built from scratch days before launch.

Beyond the summit, we helped evolve grounded.org into a platform showcasing case studies, convenings, and collaborative outcomes, speaking to urgency while inspiring meaningful change.

We mapped the attendee journey, from first hearing about the event to checkout confirmation, and understood what world-class speakers and a tight dome venue demanded of the digital experience.

Grounded.org was redesigned to speak to urgency without doom, inspiring meaningful change. Schedules, speaker bios, ticket purchase, and brand storytelling in one responsive experience.

Days before the summit, we built a custom live-blogging platform from scratch. After launch, conversion optimization drove a 350% increase in ticket sales, with 100% sold three weeks in.
